BBC iPlayer, Vista - working again (XP too)

You may have noticed my rant about iPlayer a few days back. Annoying because when it works it's so useful!

Anyway Chris Wolllard posted a "fix" on the BBC iPlayer messageboard here

Basically it appears that neither uninstalling, nor running KClean cleans up all Kontiki settings/data -- in this case one needs to clean out:
* C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kontiki (XP)
* C:\ProgramData\Kontiki (Vista) [Hidden directory]

If you do this, and potentially de-install & run KClean you should find iPlayer & 4OD start working again. They certainly did for me -- under Vista x64.
